This project aims to engage students into the history of the Second World War by doing research beyond books and
literature. Students are encouraged to analyse the role(s) of their own country during the Second World War and
compare the timeline of events with a country from another continent (in this case, Asia or Europe). They also will
produce a book/movie review which is then filmed and shared with other participants.
In the last stages of the project, students will conduct an interview with a war survivor/war veteran from
their own country and share this with other participants using our closed Facebook group. After all information has
been compiled, each country will then produce an online magazine using Joomag.
